Weihnachten Christmas Performance |
Maerchenmarkt |
Well, it's almost Christmas (which is hard to believe), and I am getting really excited for things coming up.
I was just talking to Elder Turner about how it really doesn't feel like Christmas nowadays. It is just getting colder. I will attribute it to the fact that I am not with my family for Christmas.
Lets see, this week we got in contact with a referral we got from the church website and we set up an appointment for the second. I am pretty excited about that. Hopefully I don't get transferred. That happens on the 3rd of Jan.
1. Have you gone on any splits recently? Yeah, I went on a split with the Zone Leader. I personally think that splits are a waste of time, but thats just me. I like doing things with my companion in my area.
2. Can you take some pictures of the buildings in your city that are decorated for Christmas? Or if you don't see any decorated, just some pictures of the Christmas market? I will see what I can do.
3. Any upcoming baptisms or new investigators? One of our investigators seems to be making good progress. Maybe in a couple of months? We are also excited for this new guy we got in contact with.
4. What food did you cook this week? I never cook. I mean, I can, but we have so many things going on with the ward that I never have to make dinner or anything.
5. Will you send me pictures of the Kempes? I think I have a photo somewhere.

6. What are three adjectives to describe your companion?
7. Have you done anything interesting for p-day? The more time I have spent on my mission, the more time I just want to use Pday to sleep.
8. Do you need anything? Did I tell you about my German DVD collection? I have started to pick up a few movies in German so that I don't lose the language skill. So pretty much, I need more DVDs!
9. What was the best thing about your week this week? Well, we went to Werdau to sing at their Christmas Markt. It was cold, but fun.
10. Are you going to do anymore Christmas caroling? I think all of our gigs are behind us. I am kinda glad to be honest. Its pretty taxing having to travel to other areas to give performances. I guess I could never make it in showbusiness.
11. Do the Germans have any fun traditions around the holidays that you can think of? Well, they do their presents thing on the 6th or something like that. They get all of their stuff early. Haha. Maybe we can do that when we get home?
12. When is your next transfer day? The 3rd of Jan.
13. What is one place in your mission that you would like to see or visit? I think I want to go see Buchenwald in January sometime. Its a concentration camp.
14. What's the last service you've done for someone? We helped someone pack books into boxes. (a lot of books and a lot of boxes)
15. When will you know the details about when we will be able to skype on Christmas? Well, its going to be on Christmas... Uh, what would be the best time for you all?
Have a great week! Thanks for all the support and you will see me in 59 days or something like that?
